The sextant is made up of two round aluminum plates, the upper part with the avorioline goniometric scale and the vernier, while the rosewood handle is screwed into the lower plate. The mirrors are between the plates, like the pinhole for observation by reflection of the image projected on the mirror. It is a instrument used for calculating angles in coastal navigation. The instrument is in its original mahogany wood box with brass hinges and locking hooks. A label placed inside the lid has the instructions for use. Excellent condition, fully functional. Box size 18.5x15x6.8 cm - 7.28x5.9x2.6 inches.
