Leonardo Semitecolo was a manufacturer of telescopes active in Venice in a period from the mid-eighteenth century and the mid-nineteenth century: there is no precise information about his life, although he has made an abundant number of telescopes, some of which have come up to us. One of his peculiarities was to use cardboard as material of construction.
