Bacchant is a racing boat, built by the Plym shipyard in Stockholm on a project by Knud Reimers for Eric Lundberg and launched in Stockholm in 1936; it belongs to the class of 75 square meters. The boat is currently in the United States where it is used for regattas on Lake Michigan.

In Swedish the word Skargardskryssare means cruising boat for shallow water. It's a racing class born in Sweden in 1908 with settlement about restriction of sail area. In practice, while the United States and southern Europe had adopted the metric system of the International Rule limiting the length of the hull, in Scandinavia it was born the class of square feet referred to the sail area. This design rule favored robust long and narrow boats that can go upwind effectively against headwinds. Classes of 30 and 40 square meters were declared Olympic classes in the 1920 games.
