The LP982 was the standard propeller used on the FE2B aircraft from July 1918 onwards. LP indicates the designer of the propeller, the Lang Propeller Co., a British company, specializing in aircraft propeller manufacture between 1913 and 1936.
The first FE2 was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland at the Royal Aircraft Factory in 1911. A total of 1,939 FE2B were built.
FE2B was successful as a light tactical night bomber; instead its climb rate and ceiling were too poor for it to make a satisfactory night fighter.
Round turned brass support made to measure, to hang the propeller.
The first real flight happened in 1903, when the Wright brothers made fly - and keep in the air for 12 seconds - a glider with a motor of 16 horsepower at Kill Devil Hill in North Carolina, USA. But the father of aviation, by the scientific community and aeronautics, is considered Alberto Santos-Dumont, who, during a flight on November 12, 1906, has made to take off a machine heavier than air without external help (the Wright brothers had instead used a sort of catapult to take off). The first Italian aircraft was built by Aristide Faccioli in 1908.

Do you provide an authenticity certificate/expertise?

The legislative decree n. 42/2004 stipulates that who sells works of art or historical and archaeological items has the obligation to deliver to the purchaser the documents attesting to the authenticity of the object, or at least to submit the documents relating to the probable attribution and origin.
