Rosemary is a project by William Fife III and it was launched in his Scottish shipyard in 1925. This boat has a sloop rig.

William Fife III was born in 1857 in Fairlie in Scotland, the son and grandson of architects and builders of boats in the yard of the family. William Fife III began to deal with boats in 1890 and soon his reputation surpassed that of his father and grandfather. His customers were princes, dukes, businessmen, Heads of State; even orders came from Australia. His mark was a stylized dragon's head that can still be seen today on the bows of his many boats still in circulation (around one hundred). From his site they came out two challengers America's Cup built for Sir Thomas Lipton, who were regularly defeated by the Americans. When in 1906 the new Regulation entered into force for the measurement of racing yachts (the so-called International Tonnage) Fife designed and built several 19 m and 15m IT. The shipyard also built several cruise boats.
