Project coming from the archives of Uffa Fox and never entered the commercial circuit.

Alfred Luders always worked at Luders Marine, the shipyard etablished by his father in Stamford, Connecticut. During World War II the company built a hundred patrol boats, minesweepers and submarine hunting. In 1958 the shipyard built, designed by Philip Rhodes, 12 m IS Weatherly. This boat was unable to win the challenger series to defend the America's Cup. Alfred Luders in the thirties become known as an excellent skipper and manufacturer of 6 meters SI, modified the project of Weatherly that in 1964 successfully defended the Cup. He had many famous customers like Ted Turner who made build for himself the sloop American Eagle, King Olaf V of Norway, Yul Brunner and Nelson Rockefeller.
